Merritt & Austin

I will preface this by saying Merritt is a phenomenal writer, so in her case, my words might fall short. Of course, we’ll give it the old college try, though. First off, Merritt was one of the most organized brides I’ve ever had the privilege of working with. She came to every meeting with her planner and print-outs ready, knew exactly what she liked and didn’t like, always brought this sense of joy with her huge smile, and never once doubted my abilities to execute her design— honestly, she's amazing. I ask every couple of mine to tell me a little bit about themselves, their partner, their love together, and so on and so forth. When Merritt spoke of Austin her eyes instantly sparkled (which, for anyone who knows me obviously knows I was holding back tears) and she spoke of him in the highest light. You wouldn’t even have to be intertwined in the conversation to witness their love for one another, she beamed it from across any room. She told me they would be singing a duet during the reception and I was instantly sold on them as a couple.

To go back to what I was saying about Merritt being amazing— ya, still true. She wrote personalized letters for each reception table about the persons sitting at the particular table. Little fun bits about whomever was sitting at the table, along conversation starters to get them going. Of course, I instantly cried. Half being Merritt’s writing and half being the sentiment. Merritt and Austin have the happy-go-lucky type of love that we all are forever applauding. I love following their love story (and Merritt’s writing, of course) and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the both of them.

Cheers to Merritt and Austin!
