Britt & Barrett

Planning a wedding in general is never easy, planning a wedding during a pandemic is a whole other layer of never easy. Britt & Barrett made the decision to move their 2020 Napa wedding, which is no easy feat, to 2021 after much deliberation. With a moved wedding date they still wanted to get married, though. With the craving to still become newlyweds in a micro-wedding, backyard style, they set out to make it happen. Britt reach out out to me in the middle of August, with a date for a small backyard ceremony set for September 19th. Honestly, I loved Britt right away. We actually have some mutual friends so I knew she was a good one from the people that she surrounds herself with. Britt knows what she likes and knows what she doesn’t like. She has a sweet disposition and a strong character. For the wedding, she was drawn to the color yellow, which for me was music to my ears. I had been craving and wishing to do a yellow wedding for pretty much all of 2019/2020 and Britt almost came to me on a silver platter, ready to go and ready to get married. It was destiny.

Although I have never met the couple, I design and executed the entire event from start to finish (with only a month of planning). With that being said, nothing goes off without a hitch without a truly incredible team, and I was grateful too have some seriously amazing folks on the Apricot team for Britt & Barrett wedding day. Kyle Kollman leading the event, day of the wedding, with a one-of-a-kind assistant, Stephanie Gamboni— two of my real life friends and work friends.

Britt and Barrett not only thought of every detail but they could not have had a more perfect day. I was honored that they reached out to Apricot Floral to design florals for their wedding day, but most of all, I was truly applauding Britt and Barrett for their grace through planning and crystal clear love for one another. Britt and I continue to be friends in the digital world and I am in love with her style from afar. I can’t wait until the day we can sit down for a glass of champagne or coffee and talk amongst one another.

I wish Britt and Barrett a lifetime of happiness and cheers to celebrating their love this Fall in Napa! Britt & Barrett’s Micro-Wedding was recently featured on Over The Moon.
